Inter Community Sports League
- 30 Mts run (Top 10 runners from each community)
This is a 30 Mt running race.
Suggested guidelines to shortlist participants who will represent the community for the Finals
Note down the fastest finisher’s running time and select the top 10 children based on their finish time.
Participants: Open to boys and girls from Grade 3.
Teams: Each community can send up to 6 participants (3 boys and 3 girls).
Rounds: The competition will consist of multiple rounds, depending on the number of participants, with the top shooters advancing to the next round.
Competition Structure
Shooting Zones:
The competition will be divided into three zones on the court:
Zone 1: Layup (1 point per basket)
Zone 2: Free throw line (2 points per basket)
Zone 3: Three-point line or a designated spot closer for younger participants (3 points per basket)
Time Limit:
Each participant will get 100 seconds to make as many shots as possible from any of the three zones.
Players can move freely between zones during the time limit.
Ball Type:
A size-5 basketball will be used, which is appropriate for Grade 3 students.
Rounds:
First Round: All participants compete, and the top 50% based on total points will advance to the next round.
Final Round: Top participants from the first round will compete for the highest score.
Scoring
Layup (Zone 1): 1 point per successful shot
Free Throw (Zone 2): 2 points per successful shot
Three-point Spot (Zone 3): 3 points per successful shot
Rules & Regulations
Foot Placement:
Participants must shoot from behind the designated lines for each zone.
Tiebreaker:
In the case of a tie, an additional 30-second round will be held, where participants can only shoot from the free throw line (Zone 2).
Fair Play:
Participants must respect the referee’s decisions, and any disputes will be resolved by the organizing committee.
Awards:
Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place based on total points scored in the final round. Medals or trophies will be given to the top shooters.
This competition emphasizes fun and skill development, allowing younger students to gain confidence in their basketball abilities!
Basketball (BOYS & GIRLS – Grades 4-7)
Format: League
The tournament will follow a league format, where teams will compete against each other in a round-robin format. The top teams from the league phase will advance to the knockout rounds.
Segment: Grades 4-7
This tournament is open to students from grades 4 to 7. Separate competitions will be held for boys’ and girls’ teams.
Basketball: 1 boys’ team (maximum of 8 players) and 1 girls’ team (maximum of 8 players) from each Community.
- Team Composition: 5 players on the court with 3 substitutes allowed.
- Match Duration: Each game will consist of 4 quarters of 8 minutes with a 2-minute break between quarters and a 5-minute break at halftime.
- Substitutions: Unlimited substitutions can be made during breaks or stoppages.
- Scoring: 2 points for a field goal, 3 points for a three-pointer, and 1 point for a free throw.
- Time-Outs: Each team is allowed 2 time-outs per half.
- Fouls: A player fouls out after accumulating 5 personal fouls. Team fouls will result in free throws after the team exceeds 5 fouls in a quarter.
- Equipment: Teams must wear matching jerseys with numbers visible. Each team must bring its basketball for warm-ups.
- Referee’s Decision: The referee’s decision is final.
These rules and regulations are designed to ensure fair play and smooth conduct of the tournament.
FOOTBALL: (BOYS & GIRLS – Grades 4-7)
Format: League

- Each team will consist of 5 players on the field (4 outfield players + 1 goalkeeper) with up to 3 substitutes.
- Teams can make rolling substitutions without stopping play (except for the goalkeeper).

- If a knockout game ends in a draw, the match will proceed to penalties.

- There will be no offside rule in 5-a-side football, allowing more fluid attacking play.

- Standard FIFA rules for fouls and misconduct will be followed.
- All free kicks are direct.
- The goalkeeper is not allowed to leave the penalty area. If they do, the opposing team will receive an indirect free kick.

- Rolling substitutions are allowed at any stoppage in play. Players can enter and leave the field, except for the goalkeeper, where a stoppage is required.

Parent & Child – Badminton Competition
Participants: Parent & Child (Mixed Doubles) (Age: Open for All)
General Rules & Regulations:
1. Only Doubles matches will be conducted in a single set for 21 points in preliminary rounds. Semis and finals will be conducted for 15 points (best of 3 sets).
2. All matches will be conducted in the Knockout method.
Participants should carry their own Badminton Racquets, shuttlecocks will be provided in school.
4. The players do not change their respective service courts until they win a point when their side is serving.
5. Badminton Doubles is a match consisting of 21 points.
Every time there is a serve – there is a point scored.
The side winning a rally adds a point to its score.
8. At 20 all, the side which gains a 2-point lead first, wins that game.
9. At 24 all, the side scoring the 25th point, wins that game.
10. A side has only one ‘service’.
11. At the beginning of the game and when the score is even, the server serves from the right service court. When it is odd, the server serves from the left court.
12. If the serving side wins a rally, the serving side scores a point and the same server serves again from the alternate service court.
13. If the receiving side wins a rally, the receiving side scores a point. The receiving side becomes the new serving side.
14. Referee’s decision is Final.
Badminton Singles (Grades 5-6) & (Grades 7-8)

RULES & REGULATIONS
- For Kata, Participants will perform their Kata Routine. The Judges will decide the winner based on technical criteria adopted.
- KUMITE: The schedule for Weighing in will be communicated prior to the championship.
- In the event of no participation or only one participant in the Kumite weight category, that specific weight-category event will be cancelled. The conduction or cancellation of the Kumite event will be confirmed only after the Weigh-In is completed.
- Weight categories may be merged if there are less than two participants in the category, with the consent of both players and coaches.
- In case of one participation post-weigh-in the category will be cancelled and no medal will be awarded to the participant.
- If a Participant is absent for the weighing-in process, he/she will not be eligible to participate.
- No other combat sport uniform will be allowed at the Kata or Kumite performance.
- Any Participant found over age or with any manipulation in his/her documents, will be disqualified without any kind of prior intimation.
- Participants must wear their appropriate uniform for the sport of Karate.
- Participants must carry their own protective gear.

SPORT RULES & REGULATIONS (KYORUGI):
- Participants must be in appropriate uniform for the sport of Taekwondo. The Participants are expected to get their own gear apart from a head guard & chest guard.
- No Participant will be allowed to participate without complete Taekwondo gear, comprising of the following:
- Head Guard (provided by the Tournament Organizing Committee)
- Chest Guard (provided by the Tournament Organizing Committee)
- Shin Guards
- Step Guards
- Abdomen Guard
- Gum Shield
- Elbow Guards
- A Participant must be accompanied by a coach/parent / guardian.
General Rules & Regulations (POOMSAE ):
Taekwondo is an event where all athletes shall demonstrate the chosen Poomsae for a max of 2 minutes. The Poomsae is made up of Taekwondo techniques of blocking, striking and kicking. … Striking techniques should begin at the hip and use the appropriate follow through. Balance, control and proper foot positions should be used with kicking skills.
All athletes shall perform 2 compulsory or chosen Poomsae within a max. 60 seconds break.
The following checkpoints must be followed strictly:
1) Maximum 2 participants from each school are allowed to take part in the competition.
2) Participants must perform Recognized WTF Poomsaes.
2) Participants must Show the original Aadhar Card.
3) Participants must wear a taekwondo uniform with the correct belt.
4) Participants are not allowed to wear any type of shoes.
5) Male participants are not allowed to wear a T-shirt under taekwondo uniform. Female participants are required to wear a T-shirt under their taekwondo uniform.
6) Participants may not wear any type of jewelry.
7) Referee decision is the final.

Mystic Yogis contest is a demonstration of asanas (postures) based on the theory of yoga-shastra “posture performed with perfection and relaxation without strain”

Rules and Regulations for the Competition
- Compulsory Asanas: Every competitor must perform 3 compulsory asanas.
- Asana Selection: During the competition, the asanas will be determined by a draw system, selected on the spot.
- Additional Asanas: Judges will choose 3 asanas from the syllabus. In addition to these, competitors must perform 2 more asanas of their choice, excluding the compulsory asanas. Each competitor will perform a total of 5 asanas.
- Scoring: Each asana carries a maximum of 10 marks, with a total score of 50 marks.
Judgement Criteria:
- Approach to Final Posture: The manner in which the final posture is achieved.
- Accuracy of Posture: The correctness of the final position.
- Balance and Calmness: The ability to maintain balance and calmness during the retention period.
- Grace: The grace and fluidity of the posture.
- Returning from the Final Position: The manner in which the competitor returns from the final position.
Judgement: The decision of the judge’s panel is final.
Dress Code:
- Boys: Competitors must wear skin-tight sports shorts paired with a T-shirt, or a gymnastics costume, or a swimming costume.
- Girls: Competitors must wear a skin-tight T-shirt, or a gymnastics costume, or a swimming costume.

- All matches will be started on time and no late arrivals will be considered. If any query is there related to any issue it should be addressed before the match. Walkovers will be considered if teams/individuals don’t report on time.
